Liz will be the first one to tell you that she LOVES eating, and LOVES her some wine! There’s nothing wrong with that, but years of that with minimal to no exercise, and you’re gonna put on weight that you probably don’t want. Guess what, it happened. (Maybe to some of ya’ll too.) She was tired of how her body looked, but even more importantly, how it made her feel. Liz was ready to make a change, so we got to game-planning! I told her what I tell everyone looking to change their bodies…you gotta get FIRED UP, and start believing that your fitness goals can and will be met…if you want it bad enough. Step 1, gotta start believing in yourself! If you don’t believe in yourself, you can’t expect anyone else to believe in you! It’s gonna take dedication, hard work, consistency, and a whole lotta good ol’ fashioned sweat! Combine that with a healthy diet and watch your body start to change!
There’s gonna be people doubting you, trying to hold you back, telling you you’re in over your head…haters! Don’t listen to them, just let them watch. Soon, they will want to know how you did it. It’s not gonna be easy, but it WILL be worth it! Just 3 months now into her training program (minus a couple weeks being sidelined with a broken toe from a moving accident) she’s 15 lbs down, leaner, stronger, more energetic, less stressed, and is getting her swagger back! She traded in her cigarettes for dumbbells, and now her colleagues are asking her for training advice! BOOM! Become the inspiration! Proud of her for everything she’s accomplished so far! But we’re not done. The journey continues…
